Throughout May, June and July, our staff and volunteers directly engaged with more than 1000 people, at events including the prestigious RHS Chatsworth Show, Edale Country Day and our Community Science project training sessions.
Members of the Peak District BMC group also enjoyed a guided walk on Bleaklow (despite the weather!) to learn more about our work.
Carey Davies, BMC Hill Walking Development Officer said: “It was a chance for recreational users to learn more about the ongoing effort to transform what were once thought of as barren badlands into lush upland plateaus.”
