Moors for the Future Partnership is an environmental partner of 1% for the Planet
a global organisation
a network of businesses, non-profits and individuals
working together for a healthy planet
Recognising our responsibility to protect our planet, members of 1% for the Planet commit 1% of their turnover back to the environment to support a range of environmental organisations – from restoring the Peak District’s uplands to protecting the Great Pied Hornbill. Moors for the Future Partnership is the first environmental partner in the Peak District and amongst the first in Greater Manchester, joined by BMC Access and Conservation Trust (ACT) and the Carbon Literacy Trust in Manchester. To date, 1% for the Planet has over 5,000 members in over 45 countries and has committed over £350 million to environmental non-profits globally.
“The intent of 1% for the Planet is to help fund these diverse environmental organizations so that collectively they can be a more powerful source in solving the world’s problems.”

Coldhouse Collective is a creative agency based in the Peak District, specialising in producing narrative-led adventure film and photography in some of the world’s most challenging environments. Particularly invested in combatting climate change, with the Peak District on their office doorstep, Coldhouse Collective’s membership of 1% for the Planet is being used to protect and restore the most degraded upland landscape in Europe close to home.
‘’We have begun to question the potential longevity of the environments that we all work, play, live and breathe in, and the future of the communities who call them home. We now recognise that alongside our work in the outdoor industry, it is our moral obligation to do everything that we can to preserve and protect these spaces and their people.’’
Creative Director at Coldhouse Collective, Matt Pycroft
